Halcón es rescatado en el sector San Francisco Norte (paso lateral Buena Fe-Quevedo)
Siendo las 11H42 se recibe una llamada de alerta por parte de un Operador del Servicio Integral de Emergencias (Quevedo), informando que en el sector San Francisco Norte (paso lateral Buena Fe-Quevedo), se encontraba un ave rapaz aparentemente herida, motivo por el cual solicitaba que el Personal del Cuerpo de Bomberos, acuda al sitio y tome procedimiento de la situación.
Inmediatamente sale la Unidad con varios Bomberos, los cuales toman procedimiento de la situación, capturando el ave. Se trataba de un Halcón Americano (Falco Sparverius), el cual presentaba: un ala fracturada, desconociéndose la causa de la herida.
Una vez capturado el ave, se coordina con personal policial que también asistió al lugar, el traslado de la misma a la Unidad de Vigilancia Comunitaria (UVC) ubicada en la Av. Quito (Quevedo).
Una vez en las Instalaciones del UVC hicimos contacto con un miembro de la Unidad de Policía del Medio Ambiente (UPMA), el cual se haría cargo de coordinar acciones con el personal del Ministerio de Ambiente, para que el halcón reciba la atención médica que necesita.
Periodo Operacional 50 minutos.
